SELF SUPPORTING WALL PLATE
The Self Supporting Wall plate system is manufactured, to perform excellently with glazing at almost any angle. The Self Supporting Wall Plate is secured to the back of the wall at the desired height, and then using our Self Supporting Glazing Bar profile to abut the Wall Plate, the bars simply bolt on to the Self Supporting Wall plate through the concealed fixing flange.
Our standard Self Supporting white or brown glazing bars are manufactured for immediate despatch.

P288 HEAVY DUTY SELF SUPPORTING GLAZING BAR FOR GLASS at 24MM & POLYCARBONATE SHEET AT 25MM
The P288 structural glazing bar system is a heavy duty two-part, 60mm wide medium span system designed for installing both multiwall and solid polycarbonate as well as glass. When installing glass units, you can span up to 2.6m with 600 centres. When installing up to 25mm multiwall polycarbonate sheet, you can span up to 4m with 1250mm centres. The P288 glazing bar system consists of a 60mm wide aluminium base bar complete with flat gaskets, a PVCu underclad that clips on to the base bar and a 60mm wide screw-on aluminium capping bar complete with flat gaskets. Please note that this glazing bar system does not include a mechanical end plate. The base bar should be fixed to its supports top, (middle and) bottom, the glazing faced up and the capping bar screwed on at intervals of no more than 400mm. Each bar should be finished by fitting an aluminium mechanical end plate. This glazing bar system is stocked as individual packs in white & anthracite grey (RAL7016) in a range of lengths. This is a universal gable end glazing bar suitable for use with 10mm, 16mm & 25mm polycarbonate sheets and is used on the open gable end of a roof.
Rafter supported snap down top cap glazing bars are the perfect solution for providing a secure weather tight glazing option for 10mm, 16mm & 25mm multiwall polycarbonate sheets. Ideal for use on timber conservatories, lean to roofs, carports, pergolas and many more.
Manufactured from an extremely strong extruded aluminium the base section of this glazing bar is screwed on to the timber rafters beneath; the durable low maintenance PVCu top cap then snaps into the aluminium base and the quality EPDM rubber gaskets form a weather tight seal.
Delivery is per consignment bought from us.
Each glazing bar is supplied with one end cap.

With a width of 60mm, the Twinfix P320 rafter supported glazing bar is designed to hide the fixings when fitting to rafters.
The P320 rafter glazing bar comes with 60mm wide rubber rafter gasket which is attached to the rafter using galvanised nails (not supplied by us) at every 300mm along the length. The bar also comes with a screw down aluminium glazing cap which has a hidden fixing channel and bubble gaskets. There's also an aluminium top cap which pushes down thus hiding the screw fixings. A polycarbonate end plate finishes off each bar.
The P320 rafter glazing bar is the best when it comes to glazing either multiwall polycarbonate sheet, solid polycarbonate AND glass - up to 24mm thick. We recommend replacing the end plates with one of our mechanical end plates when installing glass. You will need to contact your glass supplier for recommended rafter sizes and tolerances.
This glazing bar system is stocked as individual packs in white, brown & anthracite grey (RAL7016) in either 3m or 4m lengths.
Additional individual end plates are also available separately.
